Ronald MattesDecember 5, 2021January 3, 2023

If you’re looking for a vehicle that will keep you safe and secure when driving, you’ll want to consider one of the Mercedes Benz SUV models. You can opt for the GLC, GLS, GLK, or GLB. Each of these models has many different options that you can choose from, depending on what you want.

GLB

The Mercedes GLB is a small SUV that is available with an optional third row of seats. This makes it a viable choice for those looking for a family vehicle. The GLB is also available with a powerful and fuel efficient engine.

The interior of the Mercedes GLB is comfortable and has a high level of luxury. The dashboard has plenty of room, and the cabin is filled with the latest tech. It offers a widescreen cockpit, a responsive touch screen, and a single-piece instrument panel.

The Mercedes GLB has a spacious interior, a generously proportioned cockpit, and an attractive, upright look. The GLB features a high-res display and a digital gauge cluster. A Mercedes MBUX infotainment system is standard. The GLB can seat up to seven passengers with the second-row seats folded. There is an additional 27 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second-row seats. The GLB also features a power liftgate.

The Mercedes GLB is powered by a 2.0L inline-4 engine that generates 221 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The four-cylinder engine is mated to an advanced 8G DCT dual clutch transmission. It offers an estimated 6.5L/100km of fuel consumption when the SUV is driven on a regular basis.

The GLB is also available with an optional all-wheel drive system. The 4MATIC(r) system is available on 2.0-litre engines. The system delivers predictable handling, and provides assurance for light driving on rugged trails.

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB SUV features a 221-hp turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. It also has a five-star rating from the NHTSA. It also comes with blind-spot monitoring and an Off-Road Engineering Package.

With a seating capacity of up to seven passengers, the GLB is an excellent option for families. It can provide more cargo space than the larger GLC.

GLC

Mercedes GLC SUV is a compact luxury SUV. It has a standard track width of 63.9 inches in front and 63.7 inches in the rear. It is a little longer than the outgoing GLC, which has an overall length of 4,765mm.

The GLC SUV is available in three trim levels: GLC 200 L, GLC 300 L and GLC 350 L. Each comes with a choice of 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engines. They are paired with a 9-speed G-Tronic automatic transmission.

The GLC is available with all-wheel drive as well as rear-wheel drive. It can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 6.2 seconds. Its electronically-limited top speed is 130 mph. The GLC has a boot that can hold up to 620 litres of cargo.

The cabin of the GLC is luxurious and roomy. It has a spacious centre console and features upscale materials. A 12.3-inch touchscreen is standard. The infotainment system features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other popular options include SiriusXM and heated rear seats.

The GLC has a new front end that features slimmer headlamps and a wider grille. The rear tail lights feature a different shape. They are now connected to the grille by LED spears on the top edge. The center touch screen is now in a vertical position, making it easier to use navigation.

In the rear, the GLC has a slightly larger boot. It can fit a family holiday suitcase. However, it is still smaller than the boot of the outgoing GLC. The tailgate can be opened by a button on the driver’s door.

The GLC is available in a Premium Plus equipment package that adds air suspension. It also comes with MB-Tex leatherette upholstery and rain-sensing windshield wipers. It also features a power sunroof. The panoramic sunroof has an improved, slimmed-down center support for better visibility.

GLA

Mercedes GLA suv models are known for their suave exterior design and advanced engineering. They are also known for their comfort and practicality. The interior of the vehicle features a combination of high quality materials, an ergonomic touchpad on the center console, and an array of driver-assist technologies.

The GLA 250 has plenty of cargo space for hauling items around. Its low floor provides easy access to the trunk. The second row seats can fold almost flat, opening up a 50.5 cubic foot cargo area.

The GLA is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 221 horsepower. This is paired with an eight-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. The car comes standard with DYNAMIC SELECT, which allows drivers to choose from seven different driving modes. The GLA is also equipped with blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert.

The GLA250 is not designed for off-roading. However, it does offer an Off-Road Engineering package that helps the SUV tackle tough terrains. This includes off-road driving mode, a lower throttle response, and an active damper system. This upgrade costs about $2000 more than the base model.

While the GLA has a compact interior, it has room for four adults to ride in comfort. The GLA has good headroom and legroom, and there is enough legroom for two adults to sit in the back seat.

The GLA has a decent array of standard equipment, including a rearview camera, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and MB-Tex seats. The Multimedia Package adds a navigation system, a surround-view camera, and Android Auto. There is also a Premium package that adds a 10.3-inch infotainment screen, blind spot monitoring, and an Android Auto system.

GLS

The Mercedes GLS is a seven-seat SUV with a luxurious interior, and a wide range of high-tech features. It also has a smooth ride and a healthy blend of performance and technology.

The Mercedes GLS SUV is equipped with two powerful engine options, plus a mild hybrid system. The standard powertrain produces 362 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The optional four-cylinder biturbo V8 produces 483 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The Mercedes GLS has a long wheelbase to provide a smoother ride. Its three rows offer plenty of room for seven passengers, and it’s possible to put six in the second row, along with captains’ chairs. The third row seats can be folded flat for a large cargo area.

The GLS is also available in an AMG variant. The AMG GLS 63 includes a 603-hp twin-turbo V8 and a performance exhaust. It also includes heated second-row seats, and a panoramic sunroof. The AMG model is also fitted with high-performance brakes and a limited-slip rear differential.

Among the safety features offered by the Mercedes GLS are blind-spot monitoring, and a rear-seat entertainment system. The model also comes with a PRE-SAFE safety system, which detects and prevents front-end collisions. The vehicle can be outfitted with an Executive Rear Seat Plus package, which adds a wireless smartphone charging pad, and massaging headrests.

Mercedes GLS SUVs come with a host of tech features, including a redesigned dual-display dashboard, a digitized infotainment system, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. The model’s EQ Boost system improves fuel economy while maintaining the engine’s performance. Its advanced driving modes include off-road driving mode.

GLK 350

The Mercedes GLK 350 is a compact, two-row, luxury SUV with a spacious interior. It has a comfortable cabin, precise steering, and a solid ride.

The GLK350’s engine offers an ample amount of power. It features a 3.5-liter V-6 with direct fuel injection and 268 horsepower. It also has a seven-speed automatic transmission with a manual mode. It gets an EPA rating of 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Depending on the model, it is available with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

The Mercedes GLK has a small back seat, but there is plenty of room in the front. However, the back seat is tight, so tall adults may have a hard time getting in. There is a limited cargo area, as well.

Although the Mercedes GLK has some issues, it is still a decent choice for luxury buyers. The GLK also has some standard features, including a lane-keeping assist and a navigation system. There is a driver inattention monitor. It comes with full-length side curtain airbags and active front head restraints. There is also a blind-spot monitoring system. It can be ordered with a panoramic sunroof.

The GLK350’s ride is relatively smooth, and it has good visibility, as well as a high seating position that allows for a commanding view of the road. There are no harsh road noises, and there is little wind noise.

A 2.1-liter turbodiesel is also available. It has 200 horsepower, but it’s not the most powerful in the lineup. It is more efficient than the GLK350, and it’s rated for up to 3,500 pounds of towing. The GLK350’s ECO start/stop function can help improve fuel efficiency.
